Letter from Fr. Roger A. Synek Dear Parishioners of St. Anthony of Mandaree and New Town: I tested positive for Covid Sunday and am under quarantine till Thursday January 13th. My fever broke Tuesday. My symptoms now are mostly fatigue, coughing and a voice that is very deep. I am doing ok. Because I am quarantined, I need to find someone to preside at the weekend Masses. I can only find Fr. Terry Wipf from Parshall to cover the Saturday 7:30pm Mass in New Town. I consulted with Bishop Kagan on how to cover the Sunday Masses and he asks that I live stream Mass with no one present. Therefor I will have this livestream Mass at 11:00am and only if my condition doesn’t get worse. If you cannot attend Mass on Saturday, I encourage you to find a Mass someplace else on Sunday – Parshall, Stanley or Killdeer (the pastor at Watford City also has Covid and I don’t know what his weekend schedule will look like). Please pray for me as I pray for you. St. Roch, Patron Saint of infectious diseases, Pray for us. Have a great day with Jesus Christ May God Bless you Always. Love & Prayers Fr. Roger A. Synek St. Joseph’s, Kildeer Saturday, January 8 @ 5:30 PM Sunday, January 9 @ 10:30 AM Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, Stanley Saturday, January 8 @ 5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 9 @ 8:30 a.m. Sacred Heart, Plaza, Saturday, January 8 @ 5:00 PM St. Bridget, Parshall, Sunday, January 9 @ 8:30 AM St. Elizabeth, Makoti, Sunday January 9 @ 10:30 AM
Week I July 12-16 This year we are hosting a day camp, it will not be an overnight camp as it has been in the past. This may change from year to year. This week's camp is campers 1-4 grade. Tentatively our day will run from 8:30am with beginning with breakfast and ending at 8:00pm. You will drop off and pick up your children. More information on Monday July 12 when you register your child. We are always looking for counselors to help out.
CCD for both parishes will start with on line classes. Please read CCD letter for details. Look for a letter in the mail also and if you have questions just give me a call at 701-720-3998.
Beginning May 9th weekend Masses will resume, but social distancing standards must be strictly observed. The dispensation from the obligation to attend and participate in Mass remains in effect. We will continue to livestream daily and weekend Masses.
There is no Mass until further notice or church sponsored activities. See the message from Bishop Kagan for more information regarding Mass, Church sponsored activities and the receiving of Sacraments.
